Brother Richard is a priest-friar of the Irish branch of the Capuchin Franciscan Order. For over twenty years he has worked to bring the insights of the Christian contemplative tradition to greater public awareness. His facebook poem ‘Lockdown’, a poem reflecting on the COVID-19 pandemic, has been shared over 40,000 times and as a result was invited to do a live reading of the poem on BBC Radio.
