‘The most deadly poison of our times is indifference’
– St Maximilian Kolbe
For every avowed atheist who cares enough about God to strenuously deny his existence, there are many more who simply do not care about the question at all. Contemporary evangelisation often seems like it is less about trying to explain or defend Christian beliefs so much as trying and get people to care enough to discuss the topic. Its one thing to face resistance, at least there is passion, but how does one respond to apathy about spiritual questions?
To help us to discover how we might go about engaging those who are spiritually indifferent we will be interviewing Matt Nelson author of ‘Just Whatever: How to Help the Spiritually Indifferent Find Beliefs that really Matter’.
In this 12th CV Connect webinar we will:
Identifying the different types of religious indifference that one is likely to encounter
Share practical suggestions for how to awaken interest in those who are spiritually indifferent
Learn how to share a compelling vision of a world in which it matters what you believe.
